3.1 Media Files (Photos / Videos)
- Purpose: To enable capture of photos/videos using an external USB camera controlled by the app and to save generated media to the device photo library or a designated folder.
- Collection method: The app requests necessary permissions at runtime and interacts with the external device via USB to generate media files.
- Storage: Media files are stored locally on the user’s device (e.g., DCIM) or in an app-designated folder. Unless you explicitly enable cloud backup/upload features, we do not automatically upload media to our servers.
3.2 Device Identifier (Android ID)
- Purpose: For device uniqueness, service stability, diagnostics, and technical analysis.
- Collection method: Read using standard system APIs as a read-only identifier; the app does not modify the Android ID.
- Use & Sharing: Used solely for technical purposes and not shared with third parties without your consent.
3.3 Permissions — Explanatory List
- Camera permission (required): The OS treats UVC (USB Video Class) external cameras as standard camera hardware; accessing such devices requires declaring camera permission.
- Storage read/write (optional): Used to save captured media to public directories; if declined, saving functionality may be limited.
- Wake lock (required): Used to keep the device awake during recording to ensure uninterrupted capture; this permission does not access sensitive personal data.
4. How We Use Information
We use collected information only for:
- Providing and improving app functionality (camera control, capture, storage);
- Service quality improvements, debugging and technical support;
- Compliance with legal obligations.
We will not use your media or device identifiers for advertising targeting, nor will we sell them to third parties.
